BLACK SUN, by Niamh Kavanagh.

Patterns schedule though time.
Few miles ahead of night
inky clouds sneak upon the fire
smothering, contrasting brilliance

Penetrate these mildew eyes
caught off guard, left stained
drawn into a well of weakness
pawned by comforts in disguise

Beat, unheard words endlessly
until resound dissolve matter, fraying paths to threads and
silver hopes through the sky.

Strike shears of love
to tear wide open,
beyond all prisms that deceive.
Vanish shadows, black hearts fade
for truth; oneness to be revealed.

Show me your face so I can see
your radiance a mystery.
From the dark through moody clouds
O black sun... black sun... awaken me.
