CAUGHT IN A DREAM, by Shirin Amirbeaagi.

Caught myself in a dream tonight
You and I what used be
This old house was a home
On it's walls broken picture frames
Now alone
These walls carry scars of our love
In my heart just memories
And I catch myself
Lost in conversation with you
But you're not here talking back to me
Just a memory of what used to be
Wearing your old sweater
Trying to keep warm during these hot August summer nights
I close my eyes and feel you near
Holding me
Then I see that it's just memories of how things used to be
Radio plays our song
Days now long gone
These walls carry the scars of our wars
Holding on to broken picture frames
My heart is at it again playing games
Having conversations with you
Not much I can do
Forgive me
I am still in love with you....
