CREATURES UNDER WOOD, by Michael Faunce-Brown

I like creatures under wood.

Creepy crawlies ain`t half good!
My mum says I really should
Leave them well alone.

Logs are losing all their bark;
Woodlice, field mice in the dark.
I like toadstools in the park
Here`s a funny stone.

Over there`s a mound of ants.
Oops! One`s crawling up me pants.
Here comes Mum. She raves and rants.
Always got a moan.

Only playing in the mud.
Why blame me? It`s in the blood.
I dammed the river...caused a flood.
Time we were going home.

For the Under Fives.
