Emily Dell is an award-winning director & screenwriter. Her last feature film, B-GIRL, was released worldwide and won "BEST FEATURE" at the LA Femme Film Festival and currently airs on Showtime, Starz, iTunes, Netflix and Amazon Prime. She is under contract to write and direct the action movie THE RULES OF BUSINESS for The China Film Corporation (The Karate Kid, Transformers 4, etc). Past films have screened at over 55+ film festivals worldwide and won awards including "Audience Award" (B-GIRL short) "Best Screenplay" (Roscoe) "Best Action" (The Compass Rose) and more.
Emily directs commercials and media for clients such as Estee Lauder, ScreenCraft, The Collective Digital Studios, Purina, and her work has garnered over 800,000+ views on YouTube. As a writer she is the author of the comic book series ROMEO & JULIET AND GUNS for Emet Comics. She has lectured on film for Emerson University, New York Film Academy, National University, The Screen Actors Guild, Fresno Pacific University, and The US-China Film and TV Expo. She is the Executive Director of the Nashville Writers Conference, to debut April 2016 at the Nashville Film Festival. Emily studied film at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the WGA, Film Fatales and sits on the board of the Alliance of Women Directors (AWD).
