Toronto. Dead of winter. Benjamin, a young Toronto filmmaker, has a problem: pigeons have roosted on his bedroom windowsill. They're incessant cooing, copulating, and defecating has been plaguing him for months. His roommate, Maxim, is also affected by the pigeons and is pushed to the brink of madness as he hears their warbles in his head throughout his day. Benjamin interviews a pigeon expert at a car dealership while the expert waits for his vehicle. He learns that the pigeon's dried excrement carries numerous diseases, including herpes and chlamydia, and decides he must get tested. Just when it seems that Benjamin's disdain for pigeons has reached it's zenith, he witnesses a tragic streetcar accident in which a pigeon is killed that greatly shifts his pigeon paradigm.
