SUMMER INVITATION, by Nathan O'Callaghan.
She dances wearing a dress of wave cap white / spins grins arms outstretched / tilts her head back feels the warm touch on her cheeks basks in the connection / scent of freshly cut grass and lemonade stands opens the door on childhood memories yesterdays shadows creeping into today / flowers scream with joy the sound a silent shrill of a passing cloud / Dragonfly hovers the world pauses in their moment sky envelops so much blue on the paintbrush / emotions were harnessed she has cut the noose she floats past the rolling meadows as soft as Doves wing as green as the Jade in her eyes / she softly whispers..... To summers invitation
I want to wake in a world where your smile revolves me where the sun rises in the reflection of your eyes / I want to dive into your souls warm waters and drown in the eternal belief / I will harness the wisdom that flowers within the wilderness of your mind and take shelter beneath the rhythm of your hearts beat.
