THE SMALL PINK LAKE, by Logan Lubera.

I swim in a small pink lake. My soul surrounds me as I float in a quiet abyss.
My arms numb from the criss cross paths built up by failure and pain.

Could I be so loved or could it all be a chance to start over. Could this pain change me, rearrange me.
Could I drift to shore a new man or will this be the last of me.

I swim in a small pink lake, my feet dangle as drips of cold water land on my exposed parts like words and promises leaking out of me broken and lost

Could I be so loved or could it all be a chance to start over.
Could this pain change me, rearrange me. Could I drift to shore a new man or will this be the last of me.

The world spins away I know now the lake was a trap to capture the last of my hope.
The water once clear now stained by my heart. The love I ruined has tore me apart.

Could I be so loved or could it all be a chance to start over.
Could this pain change me, rearrange me. Could I drift to shore a new man or will this be the last of me.
