THERE WAS A GIRL, by Amanda Manggie.

There was a girl
Who wanted to be a superstar
She can't dance
For singing she doesn't have a chance
All she has is a dream of a star

There was a girl
Who wanted to be a superstar
She can't act
She can't even step her feet on the ground
All she has is a lame body

She wants her name to be in the sky
A dream that was built to fall apart
She has no talent
She has nothing left
But a nearing death

There was a girl
Who has a cancer
Her heart was destroyed
Cannot put back together
There was no more laughter

There was a girl
Who wanted to be a superstar
She wants her name to be in the sky
But now she's in heaven
With her dreams that were meant to fly
