WE ARE FALLING LEAVES, by Shirin Amirbeaagi.

Ever watched a leaf
Leave the security of it's mother arms
As it slowly falls
Slowly comes to it's resting place
Beneath the shadow of it's mother
Even when there's no breeze
A falling leaf flips and turns a million times
From the day we are born
We are falling leaves caught in the breeze
Of life our destiny
It'll flip and turn us a million times over & over
Days and nights will pass us by
The winds will howl and throw us
Further than we've ever been thrown
Harshness of life's winter will
Crack and wrinkle our delicate skin
Nothing new just the changing seasons of life
With grey settling in
As we slowly come to our resting place
Not far from the shadow of our mother's arms
