Title: FATHER'S LAND
Written by: Philip Oyok
LOGLINE: Otis Lovejoy, a disillusioned novelist, returns to Nigeria after a five-year stay in America to a past he desperately longs to escape.
A bomb goes off in a crowded restaurant in the city. Otis barely survives the explosion, but his girlfriend, Sybil, doesn't. Realization hammers him when he finds out the person responsible for the explosion is none other than his younger brother Joshua, who goes by the alias Ishmael, the alleged leader of a ruthless militant army known as the Black Path. Otis transforms himself into a vigilante and goes on a murderous streak against the Black Path, seeking a climatic confrontation against the brother he once knew.
